Who Are We? Hi my name is Doug Rainey. I am a retired Wildlife Biologist with the Missouri Department of Conservation with 35 years of experience in wildlife and farm management. Mid-West Wildlife Management Services organization was developed to assist landowners with the task of exploring and implementing land use options that will increase wildlife populations and increase farm profitability. It all begins with the landowner, his goals and objectives for their property.

Mid-West Wildlife Management Services is very cost effective. We strive to pay our way with land use practices which will increase income and reduce costs. Why pay a consultant when other government agencies provide free services? Most government employees have very little time to spend with landowners to implement management, because of their heavy workloads and mountains of paperwork. I know, I’ve been there! Let me take care of that for you and devote the time needed to complete the project. That frees you up to do what you enjoy most, hunting and fishing.

Consultation services can provide as much assistance as you find necessary to reach your objectives. It is our objective to work with you one-on-one to develop a management plan that best suits your needs and reduces out-of-pocket expenses. I can arrange for getting cost-share assistance with management practices, provide contractors to install them, and oversee that practices are installed correctly. |
| Management practices that you might consider might include the following; tree and shrub plantings, green browse plots, native grass establishment, food plots, timber stand improvement, pond & lake establishment, wetland development or management, nesting structures, pond fish management, aquatic weed control, soil erosion, crop field management, soil testing or even managing hunting leases. |

We look forward to working with you to realize all the opportunities on your property for wildlife income and cost-share.
