Adam Meyer
of New Haven, Missouri. Truman State University Student Taken 11/21/02 Public Land in Adair County CVA inline muzzle loader, 70 yards windy morning with cold front moving in. Heard grunting through the morning but could not see any deer through the brush. A doe came by on the run and Adam got ready in a kneeling position for what was to come behind her. The buck came out and stopped at 70 yards and looked right at him. He pulled the trigger and made a fatal shot. Adam said he had seen other deer of this size in the area. A real wall hanger. When you get a score on this one, let us know Adam. |

This is a true hog. If you need details, you’ll
have to call Macon Sportsman’s Corner or one of the Lolli’s at the sale
barn. Word is she shot this deer as he was servicing a doe and killed
them both. Should be in the high 170s.
