Best bets for this lake are Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish, both species good in size and numbers.

Macon City Lake permits gas motors of 10HP or smaller.

We also just got word of a small impoundment known as Blees Lake, which is a 10 acre lake in Macon that was renovated in the fall of 2001. The lake was drained and restocked by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Fishing by now should be fully developed.

Poles or rods with attached line, no more than three per person--carp can be taken by longbow

Daily limit of all other species combined is 20.
